Terms and conditions for using the Zaun AI Community platform
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zaun AI Community platform operated by Creatures Digital GmbH. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Zaun AI Community is a platform that enables users to create, deploy, and manage AI agents for various applications and use cases.
We provide users with comprehensive build scripts containing detailed information about their AI agent's configuration, including model settings, prompts, system parameters, and configuration details. This transparency helps users meet EU AI Act documentation requirements.
Our platform generates compliance documentation including risk assessments, data processing information, and technical specifications to assist users in meeting regulatory requirements.
While build scripts contain standard configuration information, users are responsible for disclosing any additional custom code, modifications, or integrations not included in the standard build script.
We provide tools and templates to help users create compliance documentation, risk assessments, and transparency disclosures required under the EU AI Act and other regulations.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
If you offer AI agents or services to third parties, you must comply with all applicable laws, including data protection regulations (GDPR), AI-specific legislation (EU AI Act), and consumer protection laws. Personal use of agents for your own purposes carries lighter compliance requirements.
If you offer AI agents or services to third parties, you are responsible for their compliance, security, and safety. This includes ensuring proper risk assessments, documentation, and safeguards are in place. For personal use, you remain responsible for lawful use of the platform.
You agree not to use our platform for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or unauthorized access.
The following list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes prohibited content:
Users agree to use platform resources responsibly and in good faith. Excessive or abusive usage that negatively impacts platform performance or other users may result in rate limiting, suspension, or termination. We reserve the right to define and enforce reasonable usage limits to ensure fair access for all community members.
Creatures Digital GmbH operates solely as a platform provider. We provide the infrastructure and tools for users to create and deploy AI agents to Matrix chat. While we offer AI-assisted creation tools (such as prompt generation assistance), we are NOT the provider, creator, or operator of any final AI agents created by users.
All AI agents deployed through our platform are created, configured, and operated by individual users. Users may share or monetize their agents through Matrix chat independently. We do not create, control, or endorse any specific AI agents or their outputs. Users are solely responsible for their AI agents' functionality, compliance, and behavior.
We provide AI-assisted creation tools (such as prompt generation assistance) to help users build their AI agents. However, these tools are for creation assistance only. The final AI agents, their configuration, and their outputs remain the sole responsibility of the user who created them.
Under the EU AI Act, we are classified as a platform provider, not an AI system provider. Our only AI system is our customer service agent, which is classified as limited-risk. All other AI systems on our platform are user-created and user-responsible.
AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the quality of all AI-generated content before use.
If you create AI systems that fall under the EU AI Act, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and risk classifications.
You must comply with the terms of service of any AI models you use, including usage limits, content policies, and licensing requirements.
You must thoroughly test and validate your AI agents before deployment to ensure they function correctly and safely.
Our AI-assisted creation tools (including prompt generation assistance) are designed to help users build their AI agents more efficiently. These tools provide suggestions and assistance but do not create the final AI agent.
Users must review, validate, and approve all AI-assisted suggestions before implementing them. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness of any AI-generated suggestions.
We are not liable for any issues arising from AI-assisted suggestions, including inappropriate prompts, ineffective configurations, or compliance problems. Users are responsible for all final decisions.
AI-assisted creation tools may not be suitable for all use cases and may generate suggestions that require significant modification. Users should exercise their own judgment and expertise.
We provide users with access to build scripts containing comprehensive information about their AI agent's configuration, including model settings, prompts, and system parameters. This transparency helps users meet EU AI Act compliance requirements. Users are responsible for disclosing any additional custom code or modifications not included in the standard build script.
We provide our platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI outputs, or compatibility with all use cases.
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for damages resulting from AI-generated content, service interruptions, or third-party actions.
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect platform availability.
During the beta phase, we do not provide guaranteed data backups. Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups of important data, configurations, and agent settings. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur due to system failures, maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances.
The platform, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Creatures Digital GmbH and protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us a license to host, display, and process your content for platform functionality.
AI models are subject to their respective licenses and terms of service. You must comply with these terms when using models through our platform.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal activities, or for other legitimate business reasons.
Upon termination, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on our platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
